UKS ’20

UPDATE, 6th July 2020. Given the current status of guidelines in relation to Covid-19, the UK Semiconductors Conference will be postponed to July 2021. This decision has not been taken lightly but it is in line with many other similar events this year. We will have an update regarding the arrangements of next year’s conference towards the end of this year.
POSTPONED: July 2021
Date and Location TBC

Consultation on the future of the National Epitaxy Facility

The UK Semiconductor’s Conference is organised and managed completely by the National Epitaxy Facility here in Sheffield. The Facility is one of EPSRCs National Research Facilities and is renewed on a 5-year basis. The renewal process starts with a call for a Statement of Community Need for such a Facility, followed by a full call for proposals.

We are expecting the Statement of Need call from EPSRC shortly and in order to plan the details of a community consultation exercise we would be grateful if you could complete a short questionnaire below regarding your interests and research needs. We estimate that the form will take around 5 minutes to complete.

We originally intended the consultation to coincide with UKS-20, but it will now take place independently in the autumn, and online.

Further information on the National Epitaxy Facility is available on our website.

We thank you in advance for your time and support.
